Day 3 & 4 Amboseli Game Reserve
After breakfast, board your flight to the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Amboseli Game Reserve. You are met by professional guides who take you on your first exciting game drive in the bush en route to your lodge. Amboseli is a place of stark contrast, the name meaning "salty dust" in Masai. Amboseli, despite its sometimes dry and dusty appearance, has an endless supply of water filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s snow melt. These underground streams converge into clear fresh water springs in the heart of the park. The powder like dust is volcanic ash, which was thrown from Kilimanjaro millennia ago. The main attraction of Amboseli is its vast herds of elephant within the park. The bull elephants here have some of the largest tusks in Kenya. Early morning and late afternoon photographic opportunities are incredible, with plentiful game and Mt. Kilimanjaro (the highest freestanding mountain in the world) providing an impressive and majestic backdrop.

Day 5 Karen and Giraffe Manor
Today you will fly back to Nairobi to one of the most unique accommodations in the world. The Giraffe Manor is an elegant, personally hosted, small and exclusive hotel, famous for its resident herd of giraffe. The Giraffe Manor offers a rich blend of welcoming accommodation, highly trained and friendly staff, as well as one of Nairobi's finest kitchens. The Giraffe Manor is surrounded by 140 acres of indigenous forest just outside Nairobi. As well as the giraffe, the property is also home to many species of birds, large families of warthogs and the elusive Bush Buck.

Day 6, 7 & 8 Lewa Conservancy
A very special breakfast awaits at Giraffe Manor (we will leave that as a surprise) before you board your flight to the Lewa Conservancy. Lewa Downs is possibly the best known and most successful ranch/home stay in Kenya. It provides a gracious combination of hospitality, unforgettable scenery and good wildlife. Located near Isiolo in the foothills of Mt. Kenya, Lewa Downs is an 18,000-hectare cattle ranch and has been home to the Craig family for three generations. Camp will be the old Rhino Sanctuary headquarters. Stay in large beautiful tents with full facilities and swimming pool.
Your host is always on hand to share her intimate knowledge of this special property and its wildlife. The camp accommodates on 26 guests thus personal attention is foremost. During your three day stay you will be taken on game drives and visit the cultural village but you can also participate in optional activities such as horse and camel treks.
Lewa Safari Camp [B, L, D]

Note: Lewa is closed from April 1 - May 1 and Oct 21 - Dec 1.
If you wish to book this itinerary during this period - we will suggest an alternative.

Day 9, 10 & 11 Masai Mara Game Reserve
Up early this morning as you will fly from Lewa to the Masai Mara. Fly over the Great Rift Valley to the Mara Reserve, offering unsurpassed game viewing... In one sweep of binoculars you can see a hundred elephants, lion, impala, zebra, and wildebeest. Don't miss the dawn game drives. The plains are gold, and the silhouettes of elephant, giraffe, and lion can be seen. Become a part of the life in the Mara - birth, feeding, death and life, an incredible experience that you will never forget. Game viewing activities.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the most favorite and is definitely the most popular game reserve in Kenya, having over 140,000 visitors per year. The reserve lies approximate 270km west of Nairobi and covers an area of approximately 1,510 sq km, bordering with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The landscaped is mostly open Savannah grasslands and acacia scrubland. At this time of the year you will see a large number of lion, hippo, crocodile and vultures all of which prey on the weak and young migrating animals. Other game to be found in the Masai Mara at any time of the year include; elephants, cheetahs, baboons, gazelles, giraffes, jackals, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, water buffalo, ostriches, and a large variety of antelope and bird life. Morning and afternoon game drives.

Leleshwa Review From Traveler (Highly Recommended): "...Leleshwa is located in a concession area just outside the Mara, so they may offer night drives and walks that you cannot do inside the reserve. It is also located away from the high concentration of camps along the Mara River which means you can have a better game viewing experience without being surrounded by minivans. The food is excellent - hard to believe you can get such wonderful food in the middle of the bush. Drinks are included in the cost and the staff are friendly and very efficient. If you are looking for an authentic safari experience away from the crowds without sacrificing any level of comfort, this is it."
Choice Of Deluxe Camp: Leleshwa Camp / Little Governor's / Kichwa Tembo [B, L, D]

Optional Hot Air Balloon safari available upon request.
