Travel Recap:

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and begin day one of your three day walking safari with Leon Varley. Walking safaris are a complete experience: Not just observing wildlife at level where you have to respect their environment as visitors but also by learning about those that you're encountering. During afternoon breaks and in the evening talks are given on animal behavior and characteristics, bird life, plant ecology and medicinal uses, geology, astronomy and history, these talks are not given to supplant your daily safari experience but to enable you to understand what you are observing. Groups are kept to a maximum of seven to ensure group cohesion, convenience and safety.
Overnight: Tented Camping [B, L, D]

On this day, you will be transferred to the 'Hide', where you will spend the next day and a half. The hide allows for superb close up but safe photographic experiences. Accompanied by a professional guide, begin the day with an early morning walk, or view game from open Land Rovers. Or simply relax on the game-viewing platform overlooking a beautiful pan. The last activity of the day is a night drive where up to fourteen nocturnal species of game have been seen.
Overnight: The Hide [B, L, D]

After the Hide you will make your way to the Victoria Falls Airport and will board a charter plane to Bumi, where you will be transferred by boat to your next destination, which is Musango Safari Camp in Kariba. Located on an island in Lake Kariba, overlooking the Ume River and the Matusadona National Park, Musango Safari Camp offers you a wide range of activities from which to explore the plethora of wildlife activities that this area supports. For the next three nights you will stay at Musango.
