We travel to many of the popular but not crowed sites along the Nile River heading north of the Capital City of Khartoum. In addition to seeing these great sites, this trip focuses on camping in remote desert areas in close proximity to the River. If camping is not for you, all evenings can be substituted with small hotels. |

| Day 1 |
Drive from Khartoum through the Bayoda dessert, stopping for lunch en route in local restaurant, cross the Nile by ferry to Old Dongola.

| Day 2 |
In the morning visit the old palace of the king, the column church, and the old church in Old Dongola. Lunch will be in Old Dongola, before we continue our drive to Kawa through the Nubian dessert.

| Day 3 |
In the morning visit the site in Kawa, where the temple of Taharka remains. We will also visit the Selim city market before we continue our journey to Karima, arriving in time for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we visit the Royal cemetery in Kurru.

| Day 4 |
In the morning, visit Jebel Barkal and the temples in and around Karima. Cross the Nile to Merawe, stopping for lunch in a restaurant there. We will then visit the pyramids of Nurib before continuing our explorations as we drive to Gazali, visiting the local site. We then continue our explorations as we head towards Atbara. | Day 5 |
In the morning drive through the Bayoda dessert, towards Atbara. We will again cross the Nile arriving in Atbara, lunch at a restaurant in the market and then drive to the pyramids of Meroe.

| Day 6 |
In the morning, revisit the pyramids, drive to the Royal city, where we will see the remains of the temples, palaces and the Roman Bath. We will then resume our journey as we head to Shendi city for lunch at a restaurant near the local market. We visit a weaving house where local dresses are made. We then to Musswarat visit the temples and the great enclosure and conclude today€™s trip with a drive to Naga.

| Day 7 |
In the morning visit the site in Naga, the Lion, Amon temples and the Meroitic Kiosk. We then drive to the sixth cataract, lunch en route. On arrival we take a Nile trip to the cataract. We then continue to Khartoum.

| Day 8 |
You will be met at your hotel this morning and taken on a visit to the National Museum, Ethnography Museum. After visiting the museums we will lunch in a Khartoum restaurant. Then continue to Khalifa House and Mahdi Doom in Omdurman, as well as the local market in Omdurman .Return to Khartoum for a farewell dinner at a restaurant in Khartoum.
