JOHANNESBURG SOUTH AFRICA and LIVINGSTONE, ZAMBIA
You will be met on arrival at OR Tambo Airport and assisted onto your flight to Livingstone. On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met and transferred by road to Taita Falcon Lodge. Perched above Rapid 17 on the very edge of the Batoka Gorge, Taita Falcon offers superb views of the raging Zambezi waters 200m below and the height of luxury set amidst the natural bush environment of the Batoka Gorge. ZAMBIA - LIVINGSTONE
Located away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist throng, Taita Falcon Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy all the excitement and action of the Victoria Falls whilst retaining the essential peace and tranquility of a remote African Lodge in the wildest of settings. BOTSWANA - KASANE FOREST RESERVE/CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
You will be met at your lodge and transferred by road to Kazangula Border, where you will be collected for your boat transfer across the Zambezi River, where four countries meet. Once you cross the river, you will be met for your road transfer to your Elephant Valley Lodge. The lodge is situated in the Lesoma Valley within the Kasane Forest Reserve which is adjacent to the Chobe National Park and offers great game viewing. BOTSWANA - KASANE FOREST RESERVE/CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
The lodge is unique because it is situated within a game rich reserve affording you wonderful sightings between the open landrover safaris into the Chobe and boat cruises along the Chobe River. The Chobe region is home to the largest population of wild elephant in the world. This is estimated to be approximately 60,000 individuals. Their sometimes daily passage takes them from Zimbabwe through the Chobe and on into Namibia before returning. Elephant Valley Lodge lies along one of these routes.The lodge has a very active waterhole frequented by numerous species, including elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard. These sightings present superb photographic opportunities from the comfort and safety of the viewing hide or the lodge's main deck areas. NAMIBIA - IMPALILA ISLAND
You will be met at your lodge after the morning activity and breakfast and transferred by road to Kasane Immigration for your boat transfer to Impalila Island Lodge, Namibia, where en-route you will clear Namibian Immigration formalities. Impalila island is situated at the meeting place of two mighty African rivers, the Chobe and Zambezi. Four countries also intersect at this location: Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. This is the only place in the world where four countries meet. The surrounding area is an amazing mosaic of waterways, flood plains and bushveld, host to exceptional bird life, game viewing and assorted vegetation. NAMIBIA - IMPALILA ISLAND
Apart from luxurious accommodation, culinary delights, and a belief that clients should be able to choose how they spend their leisure time, a wide variety of activities are offered. It is policy that all activities are professionally guided, and they have the expertise to cater for special interest visitors (eg birding/fishing). There are enough boats, vehicles and guides at the lodge so that you can structure your own activity experience. Price includes all meals, two daily activities (game cruises on Chobe, boat cruises on Zambezi, guided walks, bird watching, fishing and cultural tours), drinks during activities and laundry. THE JOURNEY HOME
You will be met at your lodge after one last exciting bush breakfast and activity, and transferred by light aircraft to Livingstone for your onward flight. Where possible this will include a Flight Of The Angels over the Falls. Fly from Livingstone Airport back to Johannesburg. |
