Sahara Desert Crossing
Steve Krenzen, Alberto Necheli, Ali Maloud, Mohamed Bilal and there team will cross the entire Sahara Desert west to east. This mammoth journey will commence in Nouakchott, the capital city of Mauritania. We will travel east through Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Chad and Sudan, finishing seventy-five days later at the town of Port Sudan located on the Red Sea.
Many years ago Ali Malouds great grandfather and some of his friends made this long journey across the Sahara heading towards their final destination, Mecca for the Hajj. Their journey took these hearty gents about one and one half years. They did this on the backs of their camels.
We dedicate our journey in the memory of these hearty gents!
